Can we use social media to stop hate?
How might we redesign digital spaces to minimise misogyny and associated social harms?

Beyond the Algorithm pilots theatre-based critical empathy training with young people through an adapted form of Forum Theatre, an interactive theatre style that invites audience members to intervene in a set script to change the story. The play investigates what motivates people to engage in online misogyny and how can we can disrupt its spread of hate and bigotry while supporting victim/survivors. Join us for what is simultaneously an investigation, an intervention, and a way of generating insights into how young people believe the issue can be addressed.
